When and How Did You Know that You Wanted to be a Photographer?
I've been drawn to visual art for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I spent countless hours creating music videos and staging photoshoots with my sisters, always finding new ways to bring ideas to life. But everything truly clicked in 2016 when I picked up a camera for the first time. The moment I looked through the lens, I knew this was what I was meant to do.

How Did you get into Wedding Photography?
Like many photographers, I stumbled into wedding photography by chance. My first wedding was for a friend of a friend, and from that moment, everything took off. One opportunity led to another, and before I knew it, I was fully immersed in the world of weddings — it was kind of a snowball effect.
How Would you Describe your Unique Photography Style?
My photography editing style is a blend of documentary, candid, and dreamy aesthetics. I’m drawn to cinematic tones but also appreciate the authenticity of true-to-color edits. It’s a balance of both — creating images that feel both timeless and full of emotion.
Tell us the Story of how you Created your very Own Preset for the First Time.
I created my first preset out of necessity. I just couldn’t find one that matched my exact vision. After spending countless hours studying Lightroom, I finally decided, why not create my own? My first attempt wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t polished, versatile, or even all that great—but I kept refining it. Through trial and error, I finally crafted an edit that felt unmistakably me. That’s how the Honey Boba was born.
What Would you Suggest to Photographers Looking to Create their Own Unique Style?
It starts with shooting! Everyone thinks the edit makes the photo, and while photo editing is important, creating a unique style is 100% in the camera. An edit just enhances what you’ve already created.
How do you Prepare Yourself Before your Photography Session?
Before a shoot, I take time to mentally walk through the location, envisioning the shots I want to create. I ask myself, What story do I want to tell? and How can I make this experience unique to my client? This process helps me approach each session with creativity and intention.
How has AI (like Aftershoot) Changed your Post-Processing Workflow?
AI has completely transformed my workflow, making it faster and more efficient than ever. Instead of spending time on tedious tasks—like checking if my clients' eyes are open—I can focus on the emotion and storytelling in my images. I still have full creative control, but now I have a personal editing assistant that helps me work smarter. I’m the boss, but AI is an invaluable part of my team.
What Inspires You?
Music is a huge source of inspiration for me—a great song can instantly spark a vision for a photoshoot (it’s so strange I know). I also find inspiration in old photographs, whether from my childhood or Charlie’s. There’s something so raw and authentic about those candid moments, and I strive to bring that same feeling into my work.
Tell us One Good Thing and One Not-so-Good Thing about Wedding Photography
One good thing: creating timeless art out of someone’s special day. Capturing a couple’s most important day is an incredible responsibility — one I never take lightly.
One bad thing: Trying to power through a long wedding day while battling hunger LOL!
What Software do you Use to Edit Photos and What does your Workflow Look Like?
I rely on Aftershoot for both culling and editing to make my photo editing workflow faster and more efficient. I love using its AI-assisted culling because it streamlines the process while still allowing me to have full control over my final selections. Once I’ve chosen my images, I apply my AI profile within Aftershoot Edits to achieve the perfect final look.
What Would You Tell Someone who is just Starting as a Professional Photographer?
Be yourself, be unique, and follow what makes you feel inspired! Don’t try to be someone else, because being you is what sets you apart.
