Aftershoot Hall of Fame 2025

Every year, photographers show us what’s actually possible when craft, consistency, and smart workflows come together.

Shooting at scale means long nights, tight deadlines, and clients who expect the same level of care no matter how full the calendar gets. The photographers who thrive here don’t rely on hustle alone. They build systems that hold up under pressure and workflows that protect both quality and sanity.

The Aftershoot Hall of Fame 2025 honours six photographers who have achieved this mastery. Power users who built businesses capable of handling real volume, real deadlines, and real client expectations without losing control of their craft.

The numbers simply confirm the impact. In 2025, photographers using Aftershoot processed 8.8 billion images, saved 89 million hours (or 11.1 million nights of sleep), and kept $212 million back in their businesses.

Meet the Hall of Fame class of 2025.

Justin Masiker & Andrew Perez: Epic Photography

Justin Masiker and Andrew Perez are the lead photographers behind Epic Photography, an award-winning wedding studio that has photographed 500+ weddings in the last seven years. Their images are high-energy and emotionally driven—bright, joyful, and cinematic in the way great weddings actually feel.

Early on, their focus was simple: show up, chase the light, and deliver galleries packed with real moments. But as the calendar filled and the studio crossed from dozens of weddings a year into the hundreds, the pressure shifted. Multi-shooter consistency, faster turnaround expectations, and creative stamina became just as critical as what happened behind the lens.

Today, Justin and Andrew operate as a true two-person system. Justin brings calm execution and a refined editorial eye that anchors the workflow; Andrew brings spontaneity, connection, and an instinct for drawing authentic moments out of even the most camera-shy couples.

Together, they’ve built a workflow designed to hold up under volume—one that protects energy, maintains consistency across galleries, and lets the work stay personal even at scale. Now they’ve built a workflow designed to handle hundreds of weddings a year

“Aftershoot plays a huge role in our day-to-day process… It helps us cull thousands of images fast, establish a clean baseline edit, and keep our galleries consistent while cutting turnaround time significantly.”

For Epic Photography, Aftershoot helps free up time for creative direction, client experience, and delivering work that still feels personal, no matter the volume.

ENCLAVEDEFOTO: Dance Photography

ENCLAVEDEFOTO is a family-run photography studio led by Susana, Carlos, and Cristina, with nearly 20 years dedicated to photographing love, movement, and expression. While they work with families and children, dance is the heart of everything they do and the reason their work has stood out for decades.

Their photography is built around rhythm and timing, capturing dancers mid-motion at galas, performances, and stage shows where every frame matters. It’s demanding, high-volume work that requires precision, speed, and an instinct for the exact moment when movement becomes emotion.

“Aftershoot feels like magic. Opening a gallery and seeing the first selection already done for us saves an incredible amount of time. When we pair that with AI editing in our own style, delivery times drop dramatically.”

For ENCLAVEDEFOTO, Aftershoot removes the most exhausting part of the process, reviewing thousands of near-identical frames so they can focus on refining images that celebrate movement, discipline, and passion. It’s how they keep up with the pace of performance photography while continuing to raise the bar, year after year.

Christine Smith: Five Graces Photography

Christine Smith is the founder of Five Graces Photography, a Geelong-based studio specializing in early learning centres, kindergartens, and family photography. What began as a personal desire to document childhood, shaped by her own experience as a mother, quickly grew into work trusted by families and centres alike.

As demand scaled into the tens of thousands of children photographed each year, the challenge shifted. The work had to move faster. Standards had to stay high. Privacy, safety, and ethics couldn’t bend under volume.

That’s where Christine’s approach evolved from photographing moments one session at a time to building highly structured, high-volume workflows that could support scale without losing care.

Today, Five Graces is known for imagery defined by warmth and authenticity, backed by systems designed for consistency, compliance, and reliability. Christine’s work proves that childcare photography doesn’t have to choose between heart and efficiency, both can exist, even at scale.

“Aftershoot plays a critical role in our workflow by streamlining the culling process across large sessions… It saves countless hours each week and supports the fast turnaround times our centres and families rely on.”

For Christine, Aftershoot is the core operational tool that helps Five Graces scale efficiently while staying true to the heart of the work: capturing meaningful moments of childhood, without compromise.

Kasey & Tyler: Studio Twelve:52

2024 Hall of Fame winner, Kasey began her photography career at 16 and went full-time by 18, turning it into her only profession for the past 14+ years. Alongside her husband and co-lead photographer, Tyler, they now run Studio Twelve:52, a studio that has documented 700+ weddings built on connection, trust, and true-to-life storytelling.

The name Twelve:52 reflects a recurring moment in Kasey’s life—a symbol of gratitude and resilience shaped by growing up with limb differences and navigating years of surgeries. That perspective carries into the work: colourful, vibrant imagery that blends candid documentary moments with confident guidance. Their experience photographing music, tours, festivals, and MMA sharpened their instinct for high-energy, unscripted emotion, while their well-known love of dogs (they have six) has made them a go-to studio for couples who want pets fully woven into their wedding day.

“Aftershoot helps us handle the most time-intensive parts of post-production. We use it to build a consistent base across galleries, then refine everything with our own personalized edits and Photoshop.”

For Studio Twelve:52, Aftershoot streamlines the early stages of post-production so they can maintain quality at scale and protecting time for creative polish, client experience, and a business built to last.

Buffy Feldman: Lifelong Photography Studio

Buffy Feldman is the founder and lead photographer of Lifelong Photography Studio, a high-volume boutique studio based in Tampa, Florida. What began as a love for storytelling has grown into a multi-photographer team focused on weddings, engagements, and milestone moments. Their work is designed to feel timeless, emotional, and lived with for generations.

As the studio scaled, Buffy’s role evolved from shooting every wedding to mentoring photographers, refining brand consistency, and building an elevated client experience across every gallery. With multiple photographers shooting simultaneously, efficiency and cohesion aren’t optional.

“Aftershoot has cut our culling and editing time nearly in half. It learns our brand style, not someone else’s presets, which has been huge for keeping our galleries consistent across the team.”

For Lifelong Photography Studio, Aftershoot supports faster turnaround, brand-aligned editing, and sustainable growth and frees up time to invest where it matters most: clients, creativity, and the people behind the cameras.

Gislaine: Estúdio Gislaine Fotografia

Gislaine is the founder of Estúdio Gislaine Fotografia, the largest photography studio in Northern Amazonas, based in Manaus. Her work focuses on life’s most fleeting seasons such as pregnancy, newborns, babies, and families captured through a classic, carefully directed style built on beautiful light and images meant to be kept forever.

As the studio scaled into a high-volume operation, especially during seasonal campaigns, consistency and efficiency became non-negotiable. With large file counts per session and multiple team members involved, selection and organization are the most critical steps in the workflow.

“Currently, I have a team dedicated 100% to editing, where they push the buttons after all, the unicorns do the work themselves which helps us in our daily work, speeding up our processes.”

For Gislaine and her team, Aftershoot enables faster delivery, reduced rework, and smooth collaboration allowing them to maintain quality at scale while staying grounded in their purpose: sharing love through photography and creating meaningful experiences for every family.

For William Edwards Photography, Aftershoot has transformed post-production by speeding up culling, improving efficiency, and enabling faster delivery without sacrificing creative control or consistency, even during the busiest seasons.
